Fred and Cherrie's Suprise Visit

Fred was suprised when I arrived at his work with his mom and dad in the car. :) We had a good visit (starting Thursday) before Fred left for his deployment on Monday.

Thursday: We suprised Fred at work and ate WaWa at the O-Club. We got in a bit of trouble for bringing food into the O-Club...oops. We had the first birthday celebration with an ice-cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. Fred showed off his construction handy work and his new saw (see above pic), then Fred and his dad put together the bassinet and the changing table. :)

Friday:
We ate breakfast at the Galley and then got some legal stuff done at the NLSO. Fred went to work to finish up his loose ends while the rest of went to Home Depot to get the rest of the items to finish the house projects.

Saturday: I made breakfast and the house projects were finished just in time for the second birthday celebration. Fred's friends Tom Banna, Ed Trembley, Christina Aponte, Nate and Michelle Mathis came to the house to say Happy Birthday and Farewell. Cherrie decorated and we had two cakes. It was fun!

After the party we went to Virginia Beach for some seafood. We ate at George's Seafood on Pacific. Cherrie found her italian ice stand on the boardwalk.

And after dinner Fred took us to see his helicopters.

Sunday: Fred took us to his Autocross. Cherrie and Fred both rode in the car with him during his race. Fred and I picked up the baby dresser from Babys R Us.

Monday: Fred left at 1pm. We were all sad to see him go. Then Fred Sr. and Cherrie were supposed to leave at 4pm - so I left them at the airport around 2pm. Traffic was terrible on the way back so I did not get home until 4pm. Cherrie told me the next day that they didn't leave Norfolk until 7pm and didn't get to Houston until after midnight. Long day.
