The Adventures of Fred and Dani

This blog is for you, our friends and family, so you can stay connect with us, no matter where life takes us. We will update you with our plans, our travels and our adventures as we start on this journey together. "If we are always arriving and departing, it is also true that we are eternally anchored. One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things." - Henry Miller

Deployment Update

Based on the most current information, Fred's deployment has been moved to sometime in September until December. This is really good news because he could have been on the Oct-May deployment. Instead he will be home for baby's next ultrasound, possibly for delivery and baby's first months. I thank God for answering our prayers. When we know more details and it will get more concrete in time. I will let you know when we know.

Christmas Baby!

This is a picture of the baby looking down on its head. So there is the head and the baby is sucking on his or her thumb. :) This one made me cry.

We had our first Ob/Gyn visit today with a midwife named Ms. Billards. She took some measurements and determined that our baby was about 12 weeks along. This means that the date is December 26. A baby for Christmas!

The next visit is July 20. We also are going to schedule the ultrasound (to determine the sex of the baby) for the end of July.
In the pictures below you can see the baby's spine.
